On September 8, the Energy Forum was held in Karpacz, Poland, as part of the largest Economic Forum in Central and Eastern Europe. Olexandr Motsyk, Chief Adviser to the President of the Company, and Taras Tokarskyy, Director for International Cooperation, took part in the forum on behalf of Energoatom. The forum is held on an annual basis, the motto of this year's event is «Europe in Search of Leadership».
Energoatom’s representatives discussed the prospects of cooperation with representatives of leading companies in the energy sector. As a guest speaker in the discussion panel on the future of the nuclear industry, Olexandr Motsyk revealed Energoatom's plans for the development of the nuclear industry in Ukraine, its prospects and advantages as a zero-carbon, reliable and safe generation.
For reference: The Economic Forum in Karpacz (Republic of Poland), hosted by the Institute of Eastern Europe Foundation, is the largest conference in Central and Eastern Europe. More than 100 partners, including the largest companies in their industries, participate in preparing the conference. Every year the Economic Forum is attended by about 4,000 guests from more than 60 countries. The speakers are heads of governments and parliaments, ministers, parliamentarians, heads of the largest companies in the region, as well as representatives of the world of science, culture and the media.
