NNEGC Energoatom and URENCO have been cooperating fruitfully for more than a decade. In total, since 2010, the companies have signed three contracts for the supply of nuclear materials for manufacturing nuclear fuel by Westinghouse. The current contract was concluded by the parties in July 2019.
Energoatom and URENCO so far work to increase the volume of supply of nuclear materials under the current contract, taking into account raising funds under the British government export support program implemented through the UK Export Finance state agency.
For reference: URENCO provides uranium enrichment services for the global nuclear industry. URENCO Group is headquartered in the United Kingdom. The company is one of the leading suppliers of nuclear fuel. The total production capacity of URENCO enrichment plants located in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands and the United States is about 30% of the world's total capacity.
